Dr. Shari Bax received her B.A. degree from University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her fields of interest are American Government and Politics, Public Administration, and research methods. Her dissertation examined interest group activity at the state level. Currently, Dr. Bax is researching differences in interest from various states and the relationship between the national and state organizations of an interest group.
