Annual Banquet

Each spring the Department of Psychological Science holds its annual banquet, co-sponsored by Psi Chi and the Psychology Club.  The banquet includes a State of the Department Address by the department chair and recognition of an outstanding undergraduate and an outstanding graduate student. Scholarship recipients are also recognized.

The 2017 banquet was held at the American Legion hall in Warrensburg on Wednesday, April 5. Approximately 100 students, faculty, emerti faculty, and alumni attended.

The Jeff Brown Leadership Awards were presented to Amy Biggerstaff, Chase Tryon, and Cody Meehan.

Sara Hancock was recognized as the department nominee for the Reid Hemphill Outstanding Graduate Student Award.

Tina Walker was recognized with the College of Health, Science, and Technology Excellence in Performance Staff Award.

 

Dr. Katie Jacobs was recognized with the College of Health, Science, and Technology Service Award.

Professor Appreciation Awards were presented to each faculty member. Emeriti faculty were also recognized.
