A member of UCM's faculty since 1998, Woolsey can provide you with information and advisement about the School of Technology graduate programs both online and on campus opportunities. He specializes in management and operations of the industrial enterprise. He is a Certified Senior Technology Manager and is especially versed in distance learning, curriculum development, data analysis, six sigma quality and lean techniques. His background includes industrial experience as an engineering manager, assistant plant engineering, maintenance supervisor, and draftsperson along with P-21classroom teaching experience. He can help you with career advancement, admissions and advisement toward a doctorate in Technology Management.

Woolsey has his Ph.D. in Industrial Technology and Education from Iowa State University with specializations in automation, hydraulics, and computer integrated manufacturing. He is a licensed private pilot with an instrument rating. His professional memberships in technology and management include: the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, American Society for Quality, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Epsilon Pi Tau, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering. His awards include recognition by his ATMAE peers as Outstanding University Professor in 1991 and 2003. He was selected for the Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology award by the International Conference on College Teaching and Learning in 2003. He serves as a reviewer for professional publications, national accreditation team member, and as a national consultant for higher education.

Dr. Suhansa (Sue) Rodchua - Associate Professor

Suhansa (Sue) Rodchua, associate professor – Sue teaches graduate programs in Industrial Management and Technology. She has published books and articles in the area of Quality Costs in Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, and Online Curriculum Development.  She holds professional certificates of ASQ-CMQ/OE and ATMAE – CTM. Sue also serves as an advisor of ASQ – UCM Student Chapter.

Cynthia Horta - Instructor

Horta is an instructor for the graduate programs at the School of Technology. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Technology Management with a specialization in Manufacturing at Indiana State University. She obtained a Master of Science in Industrial Management at UCM in 2004 and has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey – Campus Estado de Mexico in 2002.

Horta has worked in education and industry since 2003 and her knowledge and expertise is what makes her a great instructor for the Industrial Management and Technology programs at UCM.
