University Health Center

The Health Center should be your first step for the care of illness and injury, well woman care, & clinical prevention services such as immunizations and allergy injections. It is staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacy and lab technicians, and office personnel. The Health Center operates on an appointment basis, urgent cases are given priority. E-mail appointment requests, cancellations, or questions about your upcoming appointment will not be accepted. You must call 660-543-4770.

The Health Center is located at the corner of College & Clark St. across from the Elliott Student Union.

Flu Clinics

The Health Center will be hosting various Flu Vaccine Clinics for members of the UCM community to include faculty/staff and their family members (3 years of age and older), and currently enrolled students. A limited amount of high-dose vaccine is available for people 65 years of age or older. Please bring your insurance card with you. We are able to bill to most insurance except Tricare Prime, Medicare, and Medicaid. For those not using insurance, the out of pocket cost will be $25 for ages 3-64 and $55 for the high-dose ages 65 and older.


Clinics will be held at the following dates, times, and locations:

Taco Bell located in the student Union - Wednesday, October 11th 11am-2pm

UCM Health Center - Wednesday, October 11th 2:30-7pm

Ellis Dining Hall - Tuesday, October 17th 11am-2pm

Fitzgerald Dining Hall - Thursday, October 19th 11am-2pm

Todd Dining Hall - Wednesday, October 25th 11am-2pm


Beginning Thursday, September 21st - Friday, December 8th walk-in appointments for the Flu Vaccine are also available at the Health Center Monday - Friday 8am-9am and 4pm-4:30pm.



Fall/Spring Semester Hours

The University Health Center sees patients on Monday - Friday during the Fall and Spring semesters. We are open from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. You must be enrolled in Fall semester to be eligible for University Health Center services.
