Requirements for all students/employees

The UCM Board of Governors, per recommendation of the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), requires all students and employees to present documentation showing immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella and demonstrate a negative history for active tuberculosis (a TB screening questionaire is required for everyone). Documentation for immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella must consist of 2 doses of the vaccine being administerd or a titer (blood test) proving immunity to Measels, Mumps, and Rubella..

The Missouri Revised Statutes, section 167.638, states that each public institution of higher education shall provide a copy of the brochure to all students; and if the student is under 18 years of age, to the student's parent or guardian. The State of Missouri requires that all students living in University Housing must receive the meningococcal vaccine. Two doses of MCV4 are recommended for adolescents 11 through 18 years of age: the first dose at 11 or 12 years of age, with a booster dose at age 16. Exemptions are allowed for medical/religious reasons. Please fill out exemption form along with immunization form if it applies to you.

Failing to comply with the immunization policy will result in a hold for next semester enrollment or suspension of employment.
