What you will study

In the University of Central Missouri’s Industrial Management master’s degree program, you’ll take operation and production management courses that prepare you for supervisory roles in the technology industry. Our Industrial Management master's program builds both soft and hard skills, so you’re prepared to lead the human side of the workplace, as well as the technical side.

You’ll study project management, facilities engineering, legal issues in the industry, applied research for technology and more in courses such as Current Issues in Industry, Engineering Economy, Lean and Quality Management, Organizational Dynamics and Production and Operations Management.

By the time you earn your graduate Industrial Management degree from UCM, you’ll be able to:

  • Develop a project plan and lead it to completion
  • Communicate effectively about personnel issues and on all technical levels
  • Assess a project’s technical needs and know what’s needed to complete it
  • Apply the right management skills in any professional situation to lead an organization

Lean Six Sigma Graduate Certificate
