Andrew Voggesser | Bass

Andrew Voggesser is a double/electric bassist in the Kansas City area. Andrew holds a Master of Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he studied under Jeff Harshbarger and Carl Allen and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Andrew received his undergraduate degree in Classical Double Bass Performance and a minor in Music Technology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (UNL), where he studied under Dr. Hans Sturm. He is also an active gigging musician and frequently plays at Kansas City Clubs like The Majestic, The Blue Room, and The Mutual Musicians Foundation, as well as throughout the Midwest with numerous artists, bands, and touring acts. Andrew employs this varied background in education, stressing the importance of being a well-rounded musician.
