At the Rec we offer a variety of classes in an upbeat, challenging, and supportive environment.

Buy your Fit Pass for just $25, and go to as many classes as you like, all semester! Or, pay $3 per class.

Class Descriptions

Kickboxing

Kickboxing combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. This fun, high-energy workout builds stamina, improves coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle.

Lunch Crush

Only have time for a 30-minute workout between class and lunch? Come try this quick ab workout that is designed to burn 200-500 calories by targeting the upper, lower, and side abdominals.

Strength+

Ever wonder if you’re exercising properly? Not sure how to use the machines correctly? Want to get stronger while toning up your muscles? This is the class for you! Strength+ will teach you how to find your way around the gym, how to use the equipment correctly and most importantly, teach you proper technique, all while getting a great full body workout.

Yoga

You’ll enjoy some stretching, a little sweating, and a welcoming space no matter your age, size, previous yoga experience or ability. Through a variety of gentle yet challenging movements, this calm, low-key class focuses on the importance of breath and safe alignment, leaving you both relaxed and energized.

Zumba

This Latin-inspired dance workout is one of the most popular group exercise classes in the world. The high-energy classes are set to upbeat music and feature choreographed dance steps – but you don’t need to be a great dancer to feel welcome in a Zumba class. You’ll get a great cardio workout that burns fat, strengthens your core, and improves flexibility.

Spin

A great low-impact workout! Your instructor will guide you over a variety of terrain with several modes of training styles: strength, endurance, and interval training. Every ride is your ride, so you have the ability to adjust your intensity making this class great for beginners AND advanced cyclists alike. Class last 30-40 minutes. 

 

Green: Low intensity

Yellow: Medium intensity

Red: High intensity
