The first of two Senior Shows will open April 12 in the main gallery of the University of Central Missouri Art Center. This show features the work of four UCM Art and Design majors who are preparing to graduate with degrees in majors such as Studio Art, Art Education and Illustration.

Academic teams from the University of Central Missouri are enjoying a banner spring in regional and national competitions with one of the most recent victories coming from participation at the 2023 Safety Olympics hosted by Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The competition, March 23-25, was an opportunity to showcase students’ knowledge and skills in multiple safety events over a two-day period.

The University of Central Missouri is offering a summer Intro to Chemistry (CHEM 1104) course with lab May 30 through July 6 at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee’s Summit. Lectures will take place 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. with the lab from 12:30 to 2:20 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
