October 10, 2023Award-winning fiction writer Alexander Weinstein will host a screening of the film After Yang at 6 p.m. Nov. 2, in the University of Central Missouri’s Elliot Student Union Auditorium, 511 S. Holden St., in Warrensburg. At 5 p.m., UCM will host Weinstein for an author talk, book signing and reception in the Union Atrium. The event is free and open to the public.

One of these awards was presented to KMOS student producer Leilani Craig who competed against established producers in professional categories with her production of “K-Pop Rising: Kansas City Arirang Festival 2022.”

Campus members and the public have an opportunity to observe the judicial system in action, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Elliott Student Union.
September 28, 2023Beginning next year, the Missouri Innovation Campus (MIC) program will launch a highly sought-after bachelor’s degree combining artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and data science. The Bachelor of Science in Data Science will start in summer 2024, said Stan Elliott, MIC program director, and is offered through the MIC program’s partners – the University of Central Missouri, Lee’s Summit R-7 School District and Metropolitan Community College.
