'Art of Suffrage' 1869-1920 Exhibition Begins Aug. 17 at UCM Gallery

In recognition of the 72-year struggle that led to the ratification of the 19th Amendment, the “Art of Suffrage” exhibit at the University of Central Missouri Gallery of Art and Design, Aug. 17 to Sept. 19, invites visitors to examine artworks that made the suffrage movement visible to the public.

Theatre and Dance Presents Awards, Scholarships at First Virtual Banquet

The Department of Theatre and Dance held its first “Virtual” Awards Banquet May 2, 2020 via a pre-recorded YouTube link. It was made available on all the department social media platforms at 6 p.m.on the day of the event, and was emailed to patrons and donors who may have missed the link’s posting.

Alpaugh Named to Gilbert Chinard Book Prize Committee

Micah Alpaugh, Ph.D., associate professor of history at the University of Central Missouri, has been named to The Gilbert Chinard Book Prize Committee by The French Historical Studies, the leading English-language journal on French History. He will serve on the prize committee for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023.
