UCM Schedules Alternative Event for Homecoming 2020
Recognizing that the current environment negatively impacts the University of Central Missouri’s ability to host events such as a parade, a football game and a number of other activities that traditionally bring alumni back to campus, UCM today announced the fall 2020 Homecoming will not take place in October. An alternative event is being planned for Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021.

MIC Aerospace Academy Discusses Partnership with Lee's Summit City Council to Launch Avionics Program
Aerospace Academy officials discussed the need for a program leading to jobs in this high-wage, high-demand field. Following the presentation, Mayor Bill Baird and several council members expressed their support for the new program.

Career Services Announces Two Virtual Expos, Other August, September Events
The University of Central Missouri Career Services Center has announced plans to host two virtual career expos in September that are specifically targeted toward degree programs within two UCM academic colleges in addition to other August and September activities that will be of interest to a wide range of other students.
