UCM Receives $2.7 Million Grant Building Momentum in Student Retention, Completion
Validating the University of Central Missouri’s efforts to increase retention and help more students cross the degree finish line, the university is receiving a $2.7 million federal grant to aid in developing its student success continuum over a five-year period.

Board Approves Healthcare Insurance Rates
While continuing to keep costs as low as possible and provide quality coverage, the University of Central Missouri Board of Governors approved accepting a zero percent rate change in one of the employee healthcare insurance plan options and a 1.83 percent rate increase in the remaining two options from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City for the 2019 benefit year.
