Affiliated Faculty

WGS elective courses are taught by faculty located in their own disciplinary departments including Anthropology, Child and Family Development, Criminal Justice, Communication, English, Health Education, History, Nursing, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, and Sociology. WGS uses those courses but the courses are managed and scheduled by the home department. To find out information about a specific course or faculty member teaching a course, you would need to contact the home discipline office. If you don't know where to find them, just ask at the WGS office. We are lucky to have so many courses and faculty across campus willing to address issues of gender and sexuality in their programs. We also include faculty who have commitments to WGS but who do not teach any direct courses. Feel free to find faculty in your area and visit with them about Women, Gender & Sexuality studies as a minor or graduate certificate!
