Our focus on engaged learning means you'll have several opportunities to expand your knowledge beyond the classroom as a UCM marketing major. You'll hear from guest speakers who share their insights about the marketing industry and career opportunities., and have the opportunity to consult with real companies to help them solve their marketing-related problems.
We have active student organizations including the American Marketing Association (AMA) and Enactus. Both organizations provide opportunities to network with marketing professionals and also compete in regional and national competitions. As part of an organization, you will also have the opportunity to apply for various grants and develop your grant writing and fundraising skills.

Interested in sales? Look no further than UCM and our top-rated sales program. Throughout the year, our students have the opportunity to compete in various sales competitions. These are great opportunities to improve your sales skills and network with sales industry experts. In the past, our teams have competed at regional, national, and international competitions at Florida State, Kennesaw State, and Illinois State.

Each year, students from across the nation arrive at UCM to compete in the State Farm Marketing and Sales competition. Here, students showcase their innovative marketing ideas and individual sales skills. It's also a great opportunity for you to network with State Farm executives, making connections that can lead to job opportunities.
Each year, our American Marketing Association (AMA) student organization recognizes an outstanding marketing executive who has made a significant contribution to the marketing industry. All students are invited to a presentation by the recipient. Afterward, current AMA members are invited to interact with the presenter over lunch.
In addition to scholarships The following scholarships were created specifically for marketing majors by donations from individuals or businesses. All scholarships are administered through the UCM foundation and are reviewed and awarded on a case-by-case basis.
