Development Opportunities

The Center for Teaching and Learning offers various services, resources, and development opportunities to enhance the faculty development. Events and development sessions are announced on UCM Daily and can be found on the UCM training calendar. If you have a recommendation for professional development, please complete the Center for Teaching and Learning Professional Development Presentation Proposal.  

Documenting Professional Development

Certificates of Participation are offered for many of the development sessions offered by the Center for Teaching and Learning and are sent via interoffice mail to attendees. To retrieve a report of the development sessions you attended, please visit and enter your UCM login and password. If you attended a session that is not recorded or have not received a Certificate of Participation, please contact Melissa Wilson at x8528 or

On Demand Professional Development

In addition to on campus development, faculty and staff can access AI Pro, Go2Knowledge and Magna Commons for on demand trainings covering important higher education issues. Faculty, staff and students can find additional training through the Atomic Learning site. Available on demand training is relavent and current.
