The Middle East, Beyond the Headlines (May 13 - 31, 2019)

Location: Jordan, Isreal, and the West Bank.  
Faculty Member:  Dr. Mike Makara 

Course Description:  POLS 4590 

Visit Jordan, Isreal, and the West Bank. Learn about the complex political situations as well as touring places such as Petra, Wadi Rum, Juresalem and Tel Aviv.  For more information, contact Dr. Makara at makara@ucmo.edu

Criminal Justice in South Korea (May 14 - 23, 2019)

Location:  South Korea
Faculty Member:  Dr. Cho
Course Description:  CJ 4010 

A study tour to South Korea to learn about the criminal justice systems, focusing on police and corrections.  Experience Korean culture and history.  For more information, contact Dr. Cho at cho@ucmo.edu

Calabash Jamaica 2019 (May 21-28, 2019)

Faculty Member:  Dr. Delia Gillis

The course will survey the African Diaspora in general and Jamaican history and culture in particular.  A diversified leadership component and a service-learning project with the Treasure Beach Women's Group are also included in the study tour on site in Jamaica, West Indies.
