Dr. Snider has held a variety of various rolls in PK-8th grade education and higher education settings including classroom teacher, school administrator, teacher educator and researcher in the fields of early childhood and elementary education in rural, suburban and urban settings.  Dr. Snider completed her doctoral degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City with her dissertation titled "The Relationship between In-service Teachers" Culturally Responsive Teaching Self-Efficacy and Outcome Expectancy Beliefs, Instructional Practices (CLASS) and Student Outcomes in the Urban School Setting.  Dr. Snider's research interests include teacher beliefs and practices, high quality teaching and learning interactions, and factors that contribute to the parallel processes of learning and development for teachers and children.  Dr. Snider is married to husband Mike, and they have 2 sons, Bret and Bradyn.
