Survival Adult Abuse Center

Survival Adult Abuse Center, Inc. provides shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual violence. Through community outreach and education, Survival also seeks to reduce the frequency and tolerance of domestic and sexual violence. Survival can offer a temporary safe shelter for victims and their children, a 24-hours confidential crisis hotline and much more.

Whiteman Air Force Base

A sexual assault response coordinator at Whiteman Air Force Base can be used as a point of contact for confidential reporting of sexual assault for military members and their families. The base has a 24-hour sexual response advocate system to provide victim care including support through reporting and court processes.

Lee’s Summit Medical Center Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, the Lee’s Summit Medical Center has a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) who can examine you and fulfil clinical requirements to perform forensic examinations of patients who report sexual assault. The SANE provides comprehensive care and has the expertise to offer effective courtroom testimony.

The Kansas City Anti-Violence Project is a nonprofit corporation committed to providing domestic violence, sexual assault, and hate crimes advocacy and education to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community.

The Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault offers therapy, support and advocacy for victims of rape and sexual assault, for sexually abused children and families, for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, and for others touched b sexual violence.
