KMOS PBS and the Runge Conservation Nature Center have partnered to present KMOS PBS Adventure Day beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23. This free public event, sponsored in part by Hitachi Energy of Jefferson City, will take place at the Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City.

"Alice in Wonderland" CMR Touring Play Comes to UCM Sunday, May 29

Looking for a fun, family opportunity this weekend? The University of Central Missouri’s James L. Highlander Theatre will provide a great setting when it hosts Central Missouri Repertory Theatre’s presentation of the touring play “Alice in Wonderland.” The play by Lewis Carroll and adapted by Kathryn Schultz is free and open to the public, and begins at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 29 at UCM.

UCM Theatre and Dance Presents Scholarships and Awards, Announces 2022-23 Performance Schedule

University of Central Missouri Theatre and Dance recognized a number of its students and faculty through its annual awards and scholarship dinner during the spring semester on the stage at the James L. Highlander Theatre. UCM’s Theta Alpha Phi, National Theatre Honorary Fraternity hosted the banquet with nearly 90 faculty, students, and guests attending the event which took place for the first time since 2019, and featured the presentation of 46 scholarships worth $40,000 awarded.
