The University of Central Missouri would like to invite you to join us for the UCM Spring 2024 Jobs & Internships Fair. The fair is scheduled for Wednesday, February 07, 2024 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., and will be held in the University of Central Missouri Elliott Student Union ballrooms.

 The UCM Spring 2024 Jobs & Internships Fair, is an excellent way to market your jobs and internships to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Central Missouri from all majors. We encourage employers to make authentic connections with students from Freshman to Seniors in all majors and certificate programs. UCM - Education Networking and Interviewing Day

Tuesday, February 27, 2024
Networking: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Interviews 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
UCM Elliott Student Union Ballrooms (236,238 & 240)

Early Bird Registration Fee: $225.00, (Prior to Feb. 13, 2024) Includes 1 8' table with tablecloth and two representatives
General Registration Fee: $250.00 (After February 13, 2024) includes 1 8' table with tablecloth and two representatives

The UCM - Education Networking & Interviewing Day is being held in the Elliott Student Union and is in conjunction with the UCM Mid-Term Student Teacher meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2024. The networking portion of the event will be available for school districts to network with current student teachers as well as current education students. The interviewing portion will follow the networking event and will be held in the same location. Districts can invite potential candidates they meet during the networking portion to come back for a first-round interview. Interviews will be held at your table in the same location as the networking session.

This event is limited to 70 participants and will be open to student teachers during their break-out sessions and during their lunch break. All education students are encouraged to network with visiting school districts at any time. Districts that choose to participate in the interviewing session can invite potential candidates to come back for a first-round interview. Interviews will be held at your table in the same location as the networking session.

• As a key aspect of their virtual recruiting strategy, Handshake’s virtual career fair features will be available to all employers to make authentic connections with students:
• Schedule group meetings for up to 50 people to share company information and answer student questions live
• Offer 1:1 meeting slots with recruiters to meet directly with qualified candidates
• Follow up with all students who attended a virtual session

The Handshake virtual fair platform features video, audio, and text-based chat, allowing participants to make personal connections that is unique to career fairs. Employers will also have the option to host their group meetings via an external video provider if they’d like to expand the number of students who can attend group meetings.
