Policies and Resources

Connecting students to success

We are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for every student. We provide a range of resources and services to support students through challenges and build skills to do their best. As the student’s family, our resources will help connect you to information about the UCM campus and will assist you in helping your student transition to college and thrive on campus.

Moving In

Move-in day can be very hectic. For your peace of mind, prepare in advance. Here’s all the information you need to know about moving into the residence halls at UCM. Learn more.

Parking

Your student may have a vehicle on campus, but they will need to purchase a parking permit. Learn more.

Immunizations

Per State of Missouri law, your student is required to have a meningitis vaccination on file with the University of Health Center before being allowed to move in. Learn more.

Safety

Your student’s safety is extremely important to us. Through our Department of Public Safety, we have police officers available at all times. We also have a Student Assistant Foot patrol and Escort Team (SAFE Team) that offers escorts on the UCM campus. Learn more.  

Academic Support

Through the Learning Commons, UCM offers a wide variety of services to help your student succeed in the classroom from free tutoring services to the Writing Center. Learn more.

Counseling Services

The Counseling Center at UCM is there to assist your student with mental health issues and concerns. Learn more.

Registration and Courses

The Registrar provides students with access to their academic records, enrollment and degree verification, the academic calendar  and information on FERPA (Family Educational rights and Privacy Act) along with other important student data. Learn more.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Your student may be eligible for scholarships and other types of financial aid. The financial aid checklist can help you and your student navigate applying for financial aid and scholarships. Depending on the types of financial aid your student receives, there may be additional resources and programs to assist them during their time at the UCM.
