UCM to Host Earth Week 2018 Celebration

The Office of Sustainability and the Office of Student Activities at the University of Central Missouri will host Earth Week 2018 April 16-21 on the UCM campus. This year the university’s annual celebration of Earth Day also includes the annual Teach-In on Sustainability.

Board Sets Tuition, Housing Fees During March Meeting

Part of an overall strategy to address an expected $5.4 million decline in state funding for Fiscal Year 2019, the University of Central Missouri Board of Governors is putting a 2.1 percent increase in base resident undergraduate and graduate tuition on the books in preparation for the fall 2018 semester.

The University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg and UCM-Lee’s Summit will participate in a statewide tornado drill at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6. Nineteen University of Central Missouri faculty members were recently approved for promotion and tenure to associate professor, eight for promotion to professor, and one promotion to associate professor and one for tenure only. Names of these individuals and their achievements at UCM were released this week by Interim Provost-Chief Learning Officer Mike Godard.
