Demonstrating a strong commitment to student success, Krystle Gremaud, assistant professor and program coordinator for the Career and Technology Teacher Education program, and Rachelle Krausen, academic support advisor at the Success Advising Center, are being honored by the Missouri Academic Advising Association (MACADA) through two separate awards.

ABET Accredits Six UCM Programs in College of Health, Science and Technology

ABET, an organization that sets the standard worldwide for the accreditation of programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology, has approved accreditation for six university of Central Missouri academic programs. All of these programs are housed in the College of Health, Science and Technology.

UCM College of Education Announces Dieckman's Appointment as Director and Certification Officer

For over a decade, Andrea (Andi) Dieckman has been a part of UCM as both an undergraduate and graduate student, a staff member for units across campus, and an adjunct instructor for three of the university’s four colleges. Her experiences as student, staff, and faculty have prepared her well for her appointment as Director and Certification Officer of the Office of Clinical Services and Certification in the College of Education.

U.S. News & World Report Ranks UCM #16 Among Top Midwest Public Schools

U.S. News & World Report, a widely known source used by prospective students to find schools that match their educational needs and goals, has announced its 2021 Best Colleges rankings. While the university maintained its Midwest regional spot at #16 as a Top Public School and #50 among the Best Colleges for Veterans, it moved up two spaces from last year to #76 among Best Regional Universities in the Midwest, and was named #64 among Best Value Schools.

While terrorist acts that occurred Sept. 11, 2001 on American soil still live vividly in the minds of many United States citizens, whose lives were forever altered on that date, a younger generation that includes college students may one day look at 2020 as a year that changed their lives. That message was part of a speech by Army Lt. Col. (Ret.) Gareth Young, who presented the Patriot Day remarks in Hendricks Hall.
