Gretchen Hill

Gretchen J. Hill, Ph.D. (University of Kansas, 1990), Associate Professor of Sociology, teaches courses in sociology of aging and other areas of social gerontology, and social research methods.  Dr. Hill received training in research on aging under several National Institute of Health predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships.  Her research interests focus on law and policy trends relevant to later life families, and determinants of subjective well-being in middle to late adulthood.  Dr. Hill is coordinator of the graduate program in Social Gerontology.
