Students must fill out the Certification Request Form each semester they seek to use their VA educational benefits. You can visit our forms page HERE.
There are few reasons students may owe on their account:
Students using Chapter 1606 have to verify enrollment at the end of each month by calling 1-877-823-2378 or visiting the WAVE site.
- Students must wait until the last day of each month to verify.
- VA file number is the students SSN.
- VA will take 5-7 days to payout.
Example: If classes started in August students would start the verification process the last day (August 31) before the system will allow you to verify. Students can then expect to be paid for the time in August 5-7 days in September.
