UCM Professor Awarded Second Federal Grant to Protect Workers from Electric Arc Injuries

For the second consecutive time, the PI/Project Director, Dr. Miaozong Wu, CSP, ARM, program coordinator of the Master of Science in Occupational Safety Management and associate professor of Safety Sciences at UCM, is receiving grant supports from the United States Department of Labor for a new project that will focus on electric arc safety in high-hazard industries.

University of Central Missouri Esports will host and participate in an NBA 2K21 Tournament beginning Thursday, Oct. 29. The tournament will feature 11 to 12 player teams and will run for approximately one month.

Providing an evening of entertainment at the fingertips of its audience, the University of Central Missouri Theatre and Dance will present the play “Tilikum” on the UCM Theatre and Dance YouTube channel at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30. No tickets are necessary for this free presentation, and virtual doors open at 7:15 p.m.
