Professional Clothing Studio Helps UCM Students Dress for Success
Helping students to look their best in a highly competitive job market, the University of Central Missouri Career Services Center has announced the opening of the Professional Clothing Studio, a free service that provides UCM students the opportunity to select professional and business casual clothing appropriate for job fairs, interviews, internships, networking, and class presentations.

KMOS-TV to Air Locally Produced Special Highlighting Life in America and Central Missouri
At 9 p.m. CST Jan. 26, KMOS-TV, in cooperation with PBS, will premiere “The Story of Us: A KMOS American Portrait Special.” This half-hour documentary special will showcase inspiring stories about individuals living with disabilities from across central Missouri as part of the national crowdsourced storytelling project PBS American Portrait, the signature content initiative of PBS’s 50th anniversary.

UCM to Offer New Virtual Course Focusing on Augmented and Virtual Reality
The University of Central Missouri will launch a new course focusing on the emerging technologies of augmented and virtual reality this spring. The class, Introduction to Augmented and Virtual Reality, is designed for pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers, corporate trainers, instructional designers and post-secondary educators.

UCM Theatre and Dance Productions, 'Tilikum' and 'Iconic,' Invited to 2021 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
An honor rarely granted was bestowed upon University of Central Missouri Theatre and Dance when the Kennedy Center American College Festival Region V invited two of the university’s fall 2020 productions to be virtually presented at the 2021 regional festival.
