UCM Theatre and Dance Offers Season Tickets for 2021-2022 for 'Live On Stage!' Performances

University of Central Missouri Theatre and Dance has announced the availability of 2021-2022 season tickets through Oct. 16. After a year of limitations to live performance, UCM Theatre and Dance is excited to invite the community back into the theater and be “Live On Stage!”

UCM Faculty Research Article in 'Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare' Demonstrates Perceived Psychological Impact of COVID-19 on 'College Athletes'

For college athletes and members of other student groups the perceived anxiety surrounding the beginning of a new academic year in times of COVID-19 evokes emotions some students equate with those associated with major events such as a significant injury, surgery, or even losing a loved one. These are among the findings reported in a recent research paper published in the “Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare” conducted by a research team that included three University of Central Missouri faculty members, a former graduate assistant, and a faculty member at an Ohio institution.

WARRENSBURG, MO – Announcing that the University of Central Missouri was the only institution out of 47 colleges and universities from Missouri and our region to experience enrollment gains this fall across three segments - first-time freshmen, transfer and international - President Roger Best affirmed that the university has much to be proud of when he presented his 2021 State of the University Address. In his speech on Sept. 16 he called the institution “Mule Strong,” also announcing a salary increase for full-time employees, effective Jan. 1, 2022.
