Each residence hall has its own front desk to benefit students, as well as its own direct mailing address and phone number to reach the front desk.

FALL/SPRING SEMESTER DESK HOURS:
Monday - Friday: 12 pm - 10 pm
Saturday: 12 pm - 5 pm
Sunday: 4 pm - 9 pm
Mail and Package Guidelines

Mail is delivered each day except Saturday, Sundays and holidays.

All mail/packages must include the student’s name in the address (as on file with the university).

Packages in a parent's or family member’s name cannot be accepted and will be returned to sender.

Packages and mail are only processed for current campus residents. Mail for non-residents/former residents will be forwarded to address on file or returned to sender.

For Amazon, we highly encourage you to pay attention to updating delivery instructions for when our desks are open (see above) for deliveries as well as where to deliver. Amazon employees independent drivers who may drop packages outside of buildings or at closed locations. We are not liable for their misdelivered packages.

Submit a Preferred Name for Mail/Packages
If you have a nickname or preferred first name that is anything other than what is on file with UCM, you can fill out the form below and we can update your student profile within Housing. This does not change how you come up in the system nor any other university process. It will help prevent mail/packages getting returned to send due to our records not matching the mail/package.

Many residence halls have a front desk that benefits residents, staffed by Office Assistants (OAs) who monitor the front entries of buildings as well as the fire boards for the buildings. These areas provide mail services, answer general questions, as well as check out equipment, games, and supplies.
