UCM awards degrees and certificates three times per year: May, August, and December. Students completing a class during a 1st-half semester session or any other early start/end term session, must wait to have their degree and/or certificate awarded at the end of the full semester.

UPCOMING COMMENCEMENT DATES & DEADLINES
Commencement ceremonies are held for degree candidates twice per year: May and December. Students completing their degrees in the Summer term are invited to participate in the May ceremonies. Students who are only completing certificates are not recognized at commencement ceremonies.
Students who wish to defer their graduation walk will need to apply to participate in a later commencement ceremony no later than March 15th for the May (Spring/Summer) ceremonies, and October 15th for the December (Fall) ceremonies.
