An academic transcript shows a history of all courses taken, grades received, and hours earned. There are two types of academic transcripts – unofficial and official. Students and former students that attended after 1982 may access/order both types of transcripts in MyCentral.
Former students that attended before 1982 may order transcripts by paper request form.
To order an official transcript using National Student Clearinghouse, you will be creating an account that will allow:
If you know your MyCentral login information you can proceed to MyCentral > Student > Records and Registration > click the Official Transcript link under your student profile.
If you don’t know your UCM student number (700XXXXXX) contact the Registrar’s Office to receive your 700# and to update your personal email address. An updated email address is necessary to recover your MyCentral username.
If you have your student number, but still need to recover your Network ID, go to the UCM Single Sign-On page. Choose the "Forgot Username" link on the page. On this page enter your Last Name (use the one from when you last attended UCM) and your BannerID (also known as your 700#, example 700xxxxxx). Don't know your student number, contact transcripts@ucmo.edu.
To recover an old MyCentral password, try using the "Forgot Password" link on the UCM Single Sign-On page. If you are unable to retrieve your password online, contact the Technology Support Center (TSC) at 660-543-HELP (4357). Be prepared to provide your full name (and any prior names while attending), birthdate, and the last four of your social security number.
Some institutions/companies will accept faxed transcripts. Before placing an order for a faxed transcript, confirm that the receiving institution will accept this format as official. Transcripts should be faxed directly to the receiving institution. Make sure you have supplied the correct fax number.
Students and former students can order a faxed transcript using our Transcript Request Form. Requests for faxed transcripts may not be made in MyCentral. Transcripts are faxed within 48 business hours from the UCM Registrar's Office (fax: 660-543-8400).
Students who attended Central after 1982 have access to view and print unofficial
transcripts in MyCentral. The Registrar's Office does not issue unofficial transcripts.
You can access your unofficial transcript by logging into MyCentral with your Network ID. If you don’t know your Network ID you can look it up on the
UCM Single Sign-on page.
Once logged in to MyCentral, choose the "Student" tab and choose “Records and Registration." In the Student Profile box select "Unofficial Transcript". You can ignore the two drop down boxes, unless you do only want to see one level of
coursework (if you have done both undergraduate and graduate level work at UCM). The
information at the top of the document varies depending on if you choose “official”
or “unofficial,” but please note, both versions are unofficial. Coursework information
is the same on both versions.
Unofficial transcripts do not include the name of the institution and do not indicate
whether or not you have earned a degree. Degrees earned are posted only to official
transcripts. Dean's List designation will show with applicable semesters.
Official transcripts are provided for a fee ($10 each) by the Office of the Registrar and Student Records. Paper, faxed, and electronic transcripts are available. Prior to placing an order for a faxed or electronic transcript, please check with the receiving institution to confirm that they will accept these methods as official.
Official transcripts include your name, your birth month and day (not year), and your UCM student number. For your privacy your social security number is not included on the official transcript. If you have completed a degree at UCM, the transcript will include your degree(s), major(s), and minor(s) (if applicable). If you graduated with honors this will also be displayed on your transcript. Dean's List designation will show with applicable semesters.
Students may order official transcripts in MyCentral (preferred method when you want a mailed or electronic version) or using our Transcript Request Form (preferred method when you want a faxed version). The Registrar’s Office cannot accept transcript requests by telephone or email (unless our PDF order form is attached).
Students who earned dual credit through UCM during high school (or who participated in Boys or Girls State) may order official transcripts in MyCentral. The Registrar’s Office cannot accept transcript requests by telephone. If an unofficial copy of the UCM transcript will suffice, students may also access unofficial transcript in MyCentral

Dale Carnegie® programs are in compliance with the rigorous standards of the American Council on Education (ACE) and are considered to be of college level quality. ACE recommends to colleges and universities throughout the U.S. that individuals completing Dale Carnegie® Training as of April 28, 1983 are eligible for college transfer credit.
When transferring credits to another college or university, the final decision whether or not transfer credits will be awarded for completing a Dale Carnegie® Training program is determined by the receiving institution. Please contact the college or university that you are currently attending, or plan to attend in the future, to determine the policies and procedures regarding transfer credits. Some institutions will not use these credits as general education, major, or minor coursework, but may be accepted as elective credits.
Students who have completed Dale Carnegie credits at UCM should follow the regular process for ordering an official UCM transcript (see above).
Students who completed Dale Carnegie® training through other locations (not through UCM) should use the Dale Carnegie Transcript Request form and follow the instructions below. The certificate programs that UCM will accept can be found listed on the request form.
After completing your Dale Carnegie® Training program, please submit the following items to your local Dale Carnegie® Representative:
Your local Dale Carnegie® representative will verify that you have successfully completed your Dale Carnegie® Training program and will submit your forms to the University of Central Missouri for processing. The course will appear as transfer work on the transcript. Upon UCM's receipt of request, please allow a minimum of two weeks for processing your transcript(s).
