All 2021 Fall degree candidates are invited to participate in Fall Commencement ceremonies being held Friday, December 10; Saturday, December 11; and Sunday, December 12 (Sunday ceremonies will only be held if needed due to COVID 19) in the Multipurpose Building. Please note that students earning certificates independent of degrees are not recognized at commencement ceremonies. Invitations to the Commencement Ceremonies will be emailed to students during the fall 2021 semester. Fall degree candidates must apply for graduation by the September 15 deadline to receive an RSVP invitation. The deadline to fill out the RSVP survey (link included in the email) is October 15.

To make the commencement ceremonies as safe as possible:
All degree candidates will be able to pick-up regalia (caps, gowns, tassels - and hoods for graduate students) starting on October XX, 2021 (date to be determined), Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. through December 5th at the University Store-The Crossing. University Store hours during the week of commencement (December 6-11) will be Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., Friday (12/11) from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday (12/12 and 12/13) from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
For Fall 2021 graduates: Picture I.D. and regalia form* are required. Regalia order forms are found in MyCentral in the "Records and Registration" page (center column) and are available for print at the bookstore or from any on-campus computer.
For Spring and Summer 2021 graduates (who are "walking late" in December 2021): *Please note, spring and summer graduates will be unable to access the Regalia form in MyCentral. These students can go to: https://www.ucmbookstore.com/merchlist?ID=4960 Once there, choose either Bachelors Cap and Gown or Masters Cap and Gown along with the academic hood. When you checkout you will choose to either pick up your order in Warrensburg or Lee's Summit. There is no shipping fee for sending regalia to Lee's Summit. Students who wish to have regalia shipped to them will incur a $10 shipping fee.
Updates will be posted to the Graduation & Commencement website and will be emailed to students. Questions about graduation and commencement can be directed to graduation@ucmo.edu. Be sure to include your first/last name and 700# with any inquiries.
The number of commencement ceremonies needed for December 2021 will be determined in September 2021. At that time the exact days and timesIf one day of ceremonies will suffice, they will be held on Saturday, December 11th. If two days of ceremonies are required, Friday, December 10th will be added and if three days of ceremonies are needed, Sunday, December 12th will be added to the schedule.
