Students should drop classes before 4 pm on the dates listed above. While you may process drops until midnight, campus offices are only open until 4:30 pm during the summer semester. Processing the drop before 4 pm will allow for extra time if you need assistance with the drop. Students who have holds on their accounts are not able to drop classes in MyCentral. Undergraduate students with holds should contact their Student Success Advisors or the Registrar's Office for assistance with drops.  Graduate students with holds should contact the Graduate and International Student Services Office (GISS, 660-543-4621 or giss@ucmo.edu) for assistance with drops

More information about refunds can be found on the Student Financial Services website

*Please note: Some classes are offered on different schedules (not a full semester or half semester course or a 6/8/12 week summer course) and the refund dates will vary per class.

Tuition & Fee Payment Deadlines

Students are required to pay their account balances by published deadlines using one of the following payment options:

  • Payment in full
  • Installment Payment Plan
  • Confirmed Financial Aid greater than account balance

Students must pay all outstanding balances and/or be current on their payment plan before being eligible to re-enroll or receive transcripts. Please ensure that you meet the payment date deadlines to keep your student account in good standing to avoid having a hold placed on the account.

Please visit the Student Financial Services Office webpage for more information.

All students are obligated to pay promptly all charges owed on their account, including payment plan fees, collection agency referral fees, and other reasonable collection costs to collect unpaid balances.

Hours Earned: Total number of hours earned at the beginning of the current semester, including both UCM and accepted transfer hours. Hours earned does not include in progress (IP) classes. Hours earned can be found on the unofficial transcript available in MyCentral.

Starting Date: First date that current UCM students have access to enrollment. On your enrollment date, you may begin enrolling at 12:00 a.m. (midnight). After that, the system is available 24/7 except when under system maintenance. Regular maintenance times are typically early Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings.

*New UCM students (freshmen and transfers) will be enrolled in their first-semester courses by their Student Success Advisor.

New Freshmen: All new freshmen have a “New Student Hold” which prevents self-enrollment in classes. New freshmen are required to attend a summer freshman orientation day. During this orientation, the student will receive their schedule and the “New Student Hold” will be lifted.

New Transfer Students: New transfer students must be sure they are fully admitted prior to enrollment. Once admitted, new transfer students will meet with Student Success Advisors to make their schedules. The individual orientation visit can be scheduled by contacting the Campus Visit Office 660-543-8569 in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
