Welcome to Faculty-Led Programs

Our Study Abroad staff, housed within the Center for Global Education (CGE), believes a student’s study abroad experience can be one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences of his or her life.

Leading a UCM study abroad program will give you the opportunity to reach students in a way that could never be done in a classroom alone.

You will be spending much more time with your students than you would at home, and will likely serve as an adviser and mentor. The effect you will have on our students will last throughout their lifetime and will change the way they think forever.

The Study Abroad Program manages all administrative matters pertaining to UCM programs abroad. Our team of dedicated staff provides guidance and support to UCM students and faculty who wish to participate in credit-bearing programs abroad. Our office also provides Pre-Departure Orientation Workshops for students going abroad, and a network of support services for our students overseas.  Please visit our Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs page for a list of current programs.
