Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity

Studying abroad is one of the most enriching and academically challenging experiences available to a college student.  Faculty applicants are required to develop specialized curriculum to optimize the cultural setting(s) and unique learning opportunities in the proposed locations. Syllabi must be developed in accordance with UCM standards and must be approved by Departmental Chairs.

Students are required to attend all classes and all excursions which are part of the program itinerary, with illness or injury being the only valid excuse. While abroad, students are to be held to the same standard of academic integrity that is outlined in the University of Central Missouri’s handbook.
