Nominate a Scholar

Nominate a Scholar

Current UCM faculties and administrators are invited to nominate scholars from around the world to participate in scholarship at the University of Central Missouri. This scholarship includes teaching, research, classroom observation, lecture series, and other academic and engaging activities that help the university expand its global perspective. Such scholarship will be an opportunity for UCM faculty and students to learn form other cultures and participate in a cultural exchange while on campus.

Nominations submitted here will be processed through the International Faculty & Scholar Services program of UCM, situated in the Center for Global Education. Nominations will be reviewed, and links to our official application page will be sent to the nominated scholar. Scholars nominated should:

  • Be able to prove their English language proficiency, as required by a J-1 Visa
  • Not have visited the United States on a J-1 visa in the past two years
