Welcome to the Center for Global Education! Our goal is to support UCM’s commitment to internationalizing the university environment through Study Abroad and Exchange, International Student Programs, International Scholar and Faculty Services, and English language instruction.

About Study Abroad

  • Choose from over 60 countries and hundreds of courses to fit your major or minor. Time commitments can vary from as little as two to three weeks, or up to a full academic year!
  • The experience is affordable, as scholarships and grants are available, and many programs are comparable to the cost of attendance at UCM.

About International Students

UCM is home to about 2,000 international students. Through International Student Programming, we ensure that students who wish to study with us from around the world, feel welcome here.

About the English Language Institute

  • The purpose of the Intensive English Program is to provide a range of English language and study skills at a variety of levels to non-native speakers of English.
  • Students attending this program can expect to learn reading, writing , communication skills and grammar.
  • Students can also look forward to the fun cultural experiences, such as game nights, trips to Kansas City, picnics and traditional Holiday celebrations.
